Dear Colleagues,
You are invited to participate in a survey that explores the roles, contributions, and recognition of educational developers (EDs) when supporting faculty engagement in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). While existing literature explores authorship and collaboration dynamics between faculty and students in SoTL, there is a notable gap in understanding how authorship is navigated within faculty–ED partnerships.
We are curious how you navigate the complexities of authorship decisions, professional recognition, and intellectual labour in these collaborations.

We are asking EDs or those engaging in educational development work (also defined as faculty development, teaching and learning support, eLearning, curriculum development) to complete a 15 minute survey to help us better understand how the intellectual and ethical dimensions of faculty-ED partnerships, in order to contribute to a more equitable understanding of scholarly contribution within educational development.
