Dr. Johan Rochel is a postdoctoral researcher and teacher at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). He is also the co-founder of ETHIX (www.ethix.ch) which provides support in identifying and tackling the ethical challenges of new products and technologies.

Webinar description:

ChatGPT, and more broadly large language models, raise ethical challenges on different levels. In this short talk, Dr Johan Rochel will present an overview of the relevant ethical challenges and focus on the most interesting one for the educational context. Ethical challenges related to the tool itself, but also justice questions raising in specific contexts will be addressed. No special knowledge required.
