Ruth Puhr

Originally from Ireland, I have been living and working in Switzerland for 20 years, the last 14 of which have been at Les Roches Global Hospitality Education, initially as a member of faculty and, since January 2018, as Faculty Development Advisor. Currently pursuing an EdD at University College London, my background is interdisciplinary with an MA in Ethnomusicology and MSc in Information Technology. As a faculty developer, I advocate for innovative approaches rooted in human connections and believe in the ultimate power of curiosity. My research interests include professional identity, the role of higher education in society and competency-informed practice.
