Call for participation in a research questionnaire!

Several members of the SFDN community have participated in focus groups as part of my research on the professional identities of faculty in higher education in Switzerland. As part of the same research project, I am now piloting an online questionnaire for faculty. The survey looks at faculty professional identity and flourishing and takes 15 minutes to complete. Originally from Ireland, I have been living and working in Switzerland for over 20 years, the last 17 of which have been at Les Roches Global Hospitality Education. Initially a member of faculty, I became a Faculty Development Advisor in 2018 and am now Head of Quality Assurance and Academic Development. I hold an EdD from University College London and my academic background is interdisciplinary with an MA in Ethnomusicology and MSc in Information Technology. As a faculty developer, I advocate for innovative approaches rooted in human connections and believe in the ultimate power of curiosity. My research interests include professional identity, the role of higher education in society and competency-informed practice.
